Behind The Scene: Kesineni Travels Closed

Kesineni Nani, owner of Kesineni travels has closed his business. While advanced booking was stopped since last week, nationwide services have been stopped since Friday midnight.
All 170 luxury buses of the 88-year-old Kesineni Travels, one of South India's largest private travel agencies, came to a halt and its offices in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu were closed down.

Staff of Kesineni Travels went on an agitation at several places as their salaries had not been disbursed.
Recently, Nani had threatened to close down his business as he was upset at being forced to apologise to Transport Commissioner Bala Subrahmanyam.
He reportedly went back on his decision after the CM spoke to him. But there is more to this drama than meets the eye.
Social media is agog with the discussion that Nani closed down his business only to escape the debts he had incurred.
Nani started his political life by entering Praja Rajyam as a TDP covert and later shifted to the TDP.
He reportedly spent around Rs 25 crore for Chandrababu's Padayatra and another Rs 75 crore for getting elected.
With his business making losses of Rs 30 crore to Rs 40 crore per anum, Nani has been forced to shut shop.
Transport Commissioner Bala Subrahmanyam also did not allow any illegal activities of Nani's buses. Faced with mounting debts, Nani has finally shut shop.
