Anushka Shetty is one of the most popular Actress in south India. She was also a Yoga Instructor and has trained under yoga guru Bharat Thakur.She is bold and beautifull she debuted her first Telugu film Super in 2005 opposite Nagarjuna which was super hit at box office. But Arundhati was the turning point of her carreer and gave them stardum in which she had played the role of Jejamma, she got high critical acclaim and become one of the most popular actress of Telugu Cinema. She mainly works in Telugu and Tamil film industries.she was Born in Mangalore.

 In 2005 Anushka made her acting debut from a Telugu film Super, opposite with   Nagarjuna and Ayesha Takia. In this film she played a one sided lover of Nagarjuna. The film earned mixed reviews, and was hit at the boxoffice and both Ayesha and Anushka are looking sexy.Her next film was Maha Nandi, opposite Srihari and Sumanth, forher peformance she earn critical acclaims and the film was commerciallyhit at the boxoffice.In 2006, she acted in Vikramarkudu, opposite with Ravi Teja. The film went on to become very successful and making her very popular in Andhra Pradesh. After that she acted Astram, it was a remake Hindi film Sarfarosh which was staredby Amir khan and it was also a big successfull.

She made her Tamil debut Rendu opposite R. Madhvan in 2006, for her performace she was able to keep audience interaction. Her next release was Lakshyam  in 2007 was a very successfull in box office, after that she starred opposite Nagarjuna again in Don and this film was a action drama film and hitted successfully on the box office. After that she worked in Okka Magaadu, Swagatam, Baladur with Ravi Teja, Souryam with Gopichand.

Anushka get stardum after release of her blockbuster film Arundhati. she played a role Jejamma and Arundhati  and the  film was  liked  very  much  and was  superhit on  the  box  office  and commercial successfull. The performace given by Anushka she earned critical acclaim and She get Nandi Special Jury Award for her performance and the Filmfare award for the Best Actress Award. After  that  she worked  in  Billa  and  it was  a remake  Tamil  film  Billa. After that she worked in her second Tamil action film Vettaikkaran with actor Vijay, Krish  she played prostitute role,Vedam For her performance, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, Panchakshari, Khaleja, starred opposite Mahesh Babu Nagavalli and Ragada opposite Nagarjuna, Kedi and Thakita Thakita. Singam opposite Suriya was a high commercial success, Vaanam, The Hindu Deiva and Thirumagal most of the successfull  on the box office.
