Bhavna was born in Thrissur Kerala, When Bhavna was at 16, she made her debuted in the Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers Siddharth and she was get prais by her acting and performance and nominated for bet female debut actress in south indian cinema. The film was a big hit and after that she got several offers in Malayalam and for her performance she won many Awards like Special Jury Award for the film Nammal for the best actress.when she was a student of 11th class she got her first break to act in films. she is one of the most popular actress in south cinema and she acted with almost all actors in Malayalam cinema and also got many offers from Tamil Cinema and she did many films in tamil languages, she acted almost all actors like Ajith Kumar, Madhavan, Jayam Ravi,Bharath, Jiiva and Srikanth, sidharth.
After that she acted In 2010, her first Kannada film opposite to Puneeth Rajkumar, Jackie which was a big hit on the boxoffice. Her second Kannada film was Vishnuvardhana with Sudeep and it was alsoa big hit at south Indian cinema. After that she acted in the Malayalam films Ozhimuri and Trivandrum Lodge and Honey Bee and Ezhamathe Varavu, Ivide, a crime thriller based on the serial killing of IT tech in major US cities. Upcoming films of Bhavana include Swapnathekaal Sundaram and Adventures of Omanakuttan. Swapnathekaal Sundaram, touted to be an "out-and-out family entertainer", will see her portraying a housewife and mother to a 9-year-old boy, while Adventures of Omanakuttan will feature her as Pallavi, a flamenco dancer, her next film was Swapnathekaal Sundaram and Adventures of Omanakuttan. In an Interview Bhavana showed her interest to play role with Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan in a Bollywood film.
