Jackson was born in Isle of Man to English parents home, her father's name is Alan Jackson and mothe Marguerita Jackson. She has an elder sister, Alicia Jackson. Jackson studied at St. Edward's College, and then went to sixth form to study English language, English literature, she also learned philosophy and ethics.
When she was 16 , she staretd to modeling an she wins the Miss Teen Liverpool and Miss Teen Great Britain pageants, she won the title of Miss Teen World in 2009.Jackson won eighteen prizes, which included a modeling contract in the US on a $50,000 scholarship. She won Miss Liverpool in 2010. After that she started her second modelling contract with Boss Model Management and she modelled all over Europe for them.
First of all Amy Jaction made her acting debute in bollywood with Prateik Babbar in Ek Deewana Tha which was dircted by Gautham menon and film was a romantic drama and she played a lead role opposit to Prateik Babbar and it ws a remake of film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and the come on box office in feb. 2012. while Amy Jackson received praise for her performance, and chemistry with Prateik Babbar.
After that she got offer for doing a film in Telgu "Yevadu" with super star Ram charan teja and it was her debut in Telugu cinema. The film was released on 12 January 2014. In the same year She starred her next biggest project of her carreer in I as a super model Diya which was directed by Shankar and it was a romantic thriller film, she stared opposit to Vikram. The film was releases in Hindi Tamil and Telgu, with a major part of the film being shot in China and The film was released on 14 January 2015 to mixed critical response, although Jackson's performance received generally favorable reviews. Amy jaction is looking beautiful and gorgeous in the film and perfect eye candy. Amy jaction still known for tamil and telgu films had signed by Thirukumaran and Velraj and won positive reviews for her work in Velraj's Thanga Magan, where she portrayed an Anglo Indian girl. She has also been shooting for a "gritty BBC drama series", which she has refused to further elaborate on.
Amy Jackson has signed in Singh s Bling by Prabhu Deva, opposite Akshay Kumar and it was a big hit on the box office and the charector which played by Amy Jaction was very praised in this film Amy is looking so beautiful and gorgeous. The chemistry with Akshay kumar also has been liked by the critics, Finally film commercially goes well and intered in to Rs. 100 crore club. Amy Jackson has also been signed up to play the lead role in Shankar Shanmugam's upcoming movie 2.0.
