She was brn in Ayodhya and grownup in Banglore India and She has established a career in Hindi cinema as an actress first debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and she is currently one of the most popular actresses in India. She has received one Filmfare Award from six nominations.

    Anushka Sharma was born in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh and grownup in Bangalore India, but her parents are from Uttarakhand her father Mr. Ajay Kumar sharma was an army officer and her mother Ashima Sharma is a housewife, She has an elder brother Karnesh sharma and he is now in the Merchant Navy. Anushka sharma studied in Army School and graduated with specialization in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. after that she moved to Mumbai to further her modeling career. Anushka began her modelling at the Lakme Fashion Week as a model for Wendell Rodricks's Les Vamps Show and was picked to be Rodricks's finale model at the Spring Summer 2007 Collection later she done advertisement for Shilk and shine, whisper, Nathela Jwellary,Panteen shampoo etc.

   Anushka Sharma's get her first acting debut was in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), with Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. She took a day to prepare for her screen test at the Yash Raj Films  studio. After that she selected and She landed the leading role of Tani Sahni, a young bride to a middle-aged man, played by Shahrukh Khan. The film was a big hit on the Box office and given three star ratinf by the expert review by Khalid Mohamed and while Nikhat Kazmi wrote about Anushka she succeed to hold the attention. The film received positive reviews and was a major commercial success, emerging as the second-highest grossing Hindi film of that year. She was Nominated for Filmfare Awards for Best Actress and Best Female Debut For Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
After that she worked in lots of movie such as Badmash Company with Shahid Kapoor, Band Baja Barat oposit to Ranveer Singh, Patiala House with Akshay Kumar, Rishi kapoor, Ladies vs Ricky Bahel opposit Ranveer singh, Jab Tak Hai Jaan with Shahrukh Khan and Kaitrina Kaif, Matroo Ki Bijli Ka Man Dola with Imran Khan, Pk with Amir Khan, NH10, Bombay Velvet, Dil Dhadakne Do with multistarer Anil Kapoor, Ranveer singh, Rahul Bose, Priyanka chopra, Farhan akhtar etc.
