Genelia D'Souza is one of the most beautiful Indian film actress and model. She has worked as actress  in many films in South Indian cinema and Bollywood films.

   Jenelia D'ouza was Born in Mumbai  India into a Cristian family, Her mother Jeanette D'Souza was formerly a managing director of the Pharma Multinational corporation (MNC), who left her job in 2004 to help Genelia with her career. Her father Neil D'Souza, is a senior official with Tata Consultancy Services(TCS). She also has a younger brother, Nigel D'Souza, who works with the Bombay Stock Exchange. According to Genelia is also called as Geenu her nickname.  Genelia completed her schooling from Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra and after that she taken admissin in St. Andrew's College in Bandra for completing her Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies. Jenelia was a good Athlets at her schooling times and she was participated in various cultural and sports program and was a state level athlete, sprinter, and a national level football player. At her college time she did a comercial ad s of Parker Pen with the Big B Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil director S. Shankar, was impressed with her performance in the Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan and decided to cast her in a leading role in his 2003 Tamil film Boys opposit to Sidharth. Genelia was selected among 300 girls, who had auditioned for the movie. She signed three movies simultaneously in three different languages, Tujhe Meri Kasam in Hindi, Boys in Tamil, and Satyam Telugu, When she was persuing her degree she was also shooting for her  carreer's first film,Tujhe Meri Kasam with Ritesh Deshmukh in 2003.

      She has appeared in many South Indian films andBollywood films. , Genelia began her acting career with the box-office hit Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. She was recognized for her role in Boys the same year, and later established herself in Telugu cinema by acting in several Telugu films during 2003–2005.  Genelia received her first Filmfare Award in 2006 for her performance in the Telugu romantic film, Bommarillu, and it was romantic love story and a big hit in south india for her performce Jenelia earned critical acclaim and in 2008 a five years gap Genelia stared in the Bollywood movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na with Imran Khan and that was a commercially successful movie. Due to given several commercially successful movies in Telugu and Tamil, Genelia has established herself as one of the leading actresses of the South Indian cinema industry.while she was acting she did many commercial ads and television show Big Switch, and becomes the brand ambassador of Fanta, Virgin Mobile India, Fastrack, LG Mobiles, Garnier Light, Margo, and Perk in India.
    Genelia also acted in Mere Baap pahle aap, but the movie was failed as commercially after that in 2008 she acted in Life Partner with co-staring Fardeen Khan, Govinda and Tusar Kapoor, for her performace she get critical acclaim, but the movie was a average hit on the box office. In 2014 she was again paired with Ritesh deshmukh in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and this was a hit on the box office and she got married with Ritesh Deshmukh on 3 February 2012, according to Marathi marriage traditions in a Hindu wedding ceremony and she has a baby.
