Gayatri Joshi
When she was in college, she modeled for Bombay Dyeing, Philips, Ponds, Godrej, Sunsilk, LG as well as the Hyundai ad with Shah Rukh Khan. She has also modeled for Seasons Catalogue and Calendar during 2001. She made her Bollywood debut in December 2004 in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s film Swades opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Swades received strong acclaim from Indian film critics and Joshi received several praise as best Female Newcomer in film awards for 2004.

Gayatri was born in the Marathi-speaking Joshi family on March 20, 1977 In Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
She studied in Mount Carmel High School in Nagpur, after that her family re-located to Bombay, and she was enrolled in the J.B. Vachha High School in Dadar Mumbai. After completing her schooling she went on to study in Sydenham College. While still enrolled there, she modeled for brands such as Godrej, LG, Ponds, Bombay Dyeing, Sunsilk, Philips.

She get offer to play a leading role opposit Shahrukh Khan in Swadesh which was a biggest hit of the year, in this film Gaytri Joshi played a role of teacher in a village school in India and shahrukh kahan was a Nasa Agent and He came to India and he saw the life of Indian People and decided to change the life of poor Indian people by devloping electricity in the village and in alla of them Gaytri Joshi helped him. After that she did ad shoot for the Hyundai ad. Gayatri Joshi then went on to obtain a degree in Commerce from the same college.
Gayatri Joshi was chosen as one of the five finalists of the 1999 Femina Miss India Contest, and represented India at the Miss International beauty pageant in Japan during the same year.After this success she was return to modeling and appeared differnt type of advertisement and in Seasons Catalogue and Calendar during the year 2001. After that she was selected to work oppost to the Shahrukh Khan in Swadesh and Gayatri Joshi was Awrded by Film fare debut Femal for swadesh.
In the month of June 23, 2005, Gayatri Joshi officially engaged to Vikas Oberoi, the Managing Director of Oberoi Constructions in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.. They were married at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on August 27, 2005 and many celebrity like Twinkle Khanna, Isha Koppikar, Abbas-Mastan, Rakesh Roshan, Bhushan Kumar, Inder Kumar were amongst the guests at this wedding ceremony.
