Kajal Agarwal made her acting debut in 2004 with a Bollywood film kyu ho gaya na but the film was failure at the box office while her role in Kyu ho gaya na was little and played a supporting role with sister of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan After that she turned to south Indian Cinem and made had her first Telugu film lakshmi kalayanam which was release in 2007 and was a big hit on the box office after that she worked in Chandamama which was a commercially big hit on the box office of south Indian cinema for her performance she earned critical acclaims. After that in 2009 it was the year of big success for her when she stared opposite to Ram charan Teja in Telugu film Magadheera, It was a Hystorical love story film and she played role of Indira which was a princess of Magadh. The film was a superhit and broken many record and commercially a very successfull. The film was nominated for film fare awards and Kajal Agarwal nominated as a best actress for the film fare for her performance.The film changed her profile and she becomes one of the most popular and she stablished herself as leading actress in south indian cineama and becomes highest paid actress in south indian cinema.
Taking a long period of time gap from bollywood cinema in 2011 she once again come back and signed Singham opposite Ajay Devgan as leading role Kavya Bhosle, and the film is based on Police story against curruption. The film goes very well and it crosses the Rs.100 crore line and was a superhit on the box office and Kajal Agarwal looks beautifull and gorgeous and she gained critical acclaim. For her performance, She was nominated for filmfare award for the best actress debut in bollywood. After that she worked in Special 26 opposite Akshay Kumar which was a low budget movie but hited at the box office as a bomb and very successfull and commercially very profitable movie of the year 2013.
